Privacy
Your chemical inventory says a lot about your business. Here is exactly what we hold, what leaves your browser, and who else can see it — written from the code, not from a template.
What we store

Who else can see it
Nobody, other than you. Access is enforced in the database itself, not only in our application code: every row carries an owner, and the database refuses to return rows that are not yours even if our own code asks wrongly. We test that by trying to read another account’s inventory on every check.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We will hand it to a government body only if we are legally compelled to.
What leaves your browser
- Chemical searches reach our server, because the substance list lives there. We do not keep a record of what you searched.
- Your address, only when you press the lookup button, and only to the US Census Bureau’s free geocoding service so we can fill in the county and coordinates the form wants. We keep no record of that request.
- Your email and payment go to our payment provider, Paddle.com, who is the merchant of record for the sale. One more thing we keep only if you ask for it: the email address you leave on the free answer page for a deadline reminder — two emails, 30 and 7 days before the date, each with a link that stops them. Nothing else from that page goes with it.
There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, and no advertising script anywhere on this site. We do keep one bare number per day for each of five steps, from starting the checker to opening checkout — how many times it was reached — with no cookie and nothing that tells one visitor from another.
Your choices
You can export your inventory, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it. Ask at filings@tallymark.co and we will do it. Deleting removes your facilities, inventory and filings; we keep the minimum billing records the payment provider and tax rules require.
